Vision

Mentoring the students to gain command over the Kannada language for it is the official language and home of Karnataka state and also to instill cultural, ethical, spiritual, moral values and excellence through the study of Kannada language and literature.

Mission

To create a feeling of affection towards our regional language among the students by narrating the different forms of Kannada language and literature.

Objectives of the Department

To enhance the ability to understand and listen and communicate.
To enhance the ability to speak meaningfully.
To be able to make meaningful sentences elevate writing skills.
To enhance the ability of experiential learning in grammar.
To develop personality through enhancement of language skills.
To develop pride and respect for language and culture of the land of Kannada.
To develop strength and love for Kannada literature.
To make the students to realize the importance of competitive exams in Optional Kannada and General Kannada.
