- To Library strengthen and enhance the teaching, learning and research.
- To promote intellectual growth and creativity by developing collections, facilitating access to information resources.
- To educate users about the Library sources and services and develops professional skills in its Library staff.
- To implement innovative technologies and services to deliver information and scholarly resources conveniently to users anytime / anyplace.
- To provide well-equipped and functional physical spaces where students can pursue independent learning and discovery outside the classroom.
LIBRARY GOALS:
- Improve the effectiveness of the Library services.
- Improve the financial performance and economic growth of the Library.
- Improve the efficiency of the Library housekeeping operations.
- Develop the Library wide work culture, professional skills of the Library staff and develop the Library staff as strategic thinkers.
- Safeguard the interests and benefits of the Library stakeholders.
OBJECTIVES:
- To meet the Library users’ expectations to review and redesign valued added Library services.
- To optimum usage of allocated budget and mobilize financial resources.
- To improve the Library internal process speed, accuracy and transparency. Library service delivery system by integrated information and communication technology.
- To encourage and motivate, to develop and sustain expertise, skills with commitment and an innovative spirit in the Library staff.
