The Commerce & Management Association activity was held on 06.11.2025 at Seminar Hall of Smt. ASM College for Women, Ballari. A special lecture was conducted on the topic "Women Empowerment" by Dr. ARUNA at 11.00am in Seminar Hall. The College Governing Council Chairperson is Smt. KATHYAYINI. M. MARIDEVAIAH, Principal Dr. Dupam Satheesh, staff & students participated on occasion.

V.V. Sangha's Smt. ASM College for Women, Ballari, had organized a significant event on Women Empowerment and Atmanirbhar Sankalpa Abhiyan, emphasizing the importance of self-reliance and gender equality. The program featured esteemed guests, including CGC Chairperson Smt. Kathyayini M. Maridevaiah, Principal Dr. Dupam Sateesh, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Syeda K. Tanveer Fatima, Advocates Smt. Pushpa Chandrashekar, Sri. Mallikarjun, Smt. Suguna, and Resource Person Dr. Aruna Kamineni, a renowned laparoscopic surgeon. HoDs of all the departments, faculty members, and college students participated in this special talk program. Dr. Aruna Kamineni has stressed women's empowerment and its importance and also the role of women in building a nation. The importance of being local and buying local, or the importance of being swadeshi. CGC Chairperson Smt. Kathyaini M. Maridevaiah, in her speech, focused on buying swadeshi products and the importance of acquiring skills. Dr. Dupam Sateesh, while addressing the event, spoke about women's empowerment and the steps taken by the institution to enhance the skills of the students and empower women since its establishment. In his speech he praised the work carried out by the groups in conducting events and the resource person for her speech. The program was compiled by Smt. Rini Gattina, guests were welcomed by Ms. Gouthami, the introduction of guests was by Ms. Divya Budur, and a vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Nirmala Reddy.
