A Study Trip & Field Visit organized on 28.09.2025 (Sunday) for BSc Students.

Botany & Zoology departments' study visit to Sandur Forest & Poultry Farm on 28.09.2025 (Sunday) 

As a part of the taxonomic study, the Department of Botany has organized a field visit activity for students. Today all B.Sc. 5th & 3rd sem students. Our students collected the list of plants in Sandur forest and also studied their morphological and taxonomical features with the help of staff members. The Head of the Department of Botany is Dr. Bheemanagouda N. Patil, and Smt. Pallavi and Smt. Shubha are lecturers of botany. Similarly under the leadership of Ms. Vishnupriya & Ms. Rakshitha K, faculties of the Dept. of Zoology. The Department of Zoology has also visited the Sandur forest for ecology studies, and a visit to a poultry farm was undertaken as a part of their practical syllabus. Around 43 students from B.Sc. V & III Semester were present.
