The Department of Botany had organised a special lecture on the topic 'Methods of Herbarium technique' at the Botany Lab.

The program was presided over by the College Principal Dr.Dupam Satheesh. The Chief Guest and Resource Person was Dr.Sharanabasava Biradar, Assistant Professor and HoD, Department of Botany, Veerashaiva College, Ballari. The Principal, Dr. Dupam Satheesh, spoke on the occasion. The Head of the Department of Botany Dr.Bheemanagouda N.Patil introduced the Chief Guest. Dr.Basavarajeshwari H., Assistant Professor of Botany carried out the event by welcoming the guests and the gathering. The invocation was done by Ms. Amruta Yadav, BSc-3rd Semester, The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms.Thriveni, BSc-5th semester. IQAC Coordinator Dr.Syeda K Tanveer and Mr.Basavaraj Hugar, Assistant Professor of Chemistry were attended the event. Botany and Zoology department Lecturers and around 60 students from BSc-V and III Semesters were present in this lecture programme.
