“To develop a sociological imagination and a broad outlook as an essential pre requisite to study and understand society and culture in both the community and global contexts.

Mission:

• To cultivate multiple ways of understanding society in order to create purposeful futures for our students in an ever-evolving employment market by application of sociological knowledge.
• Sociological knowledge gained through collaborate education community engagement and experiential learning developing transferable skills such, as research, professional writing effective communication, inclusivity and leadership.

Objectives:

• Promotion of the scientific study of sociology
• To train the human resources.
• To spread knowledge of global scenario among the students.
• To develop logical thinking among the students.
