National Voluntary Blood Donation Day Programme

The District AIDS Control and Prevention Cell, District Hospital, Ballari, in association with the College Youth Red Cross Wing and NSS Units, organised a special programme on the occasion of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day on 01.10.2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Library Seminar Hall.

The programme aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of voluntary blood donation and AIDS prevention.

The programme was attended by Principal Dr. Dupam Satheesh, Dr. Indrani, Dr. Udayashankara, IQAC Coordinator and YRCW Convenor Syeda K. Tanveer Fatima, Sri. Ramalinga, HoD, Department of History, and NSS Officer, and Sri. Sundarmurthy, HoD, Department of Political Science.

During the programme, nearly 10 volunteers from different institutions were felicitated by the District AIDS Control and Prevention Cell, District Hospital, Ballari, in recognition of their selfless service and contribution to blood donation.

Around 100 students actively participated in the programme and benefited from the awareness session on voluntary blood donation and AIDS prevention.
