Report on Annual Talent’s Day - 2024

Annual Talent’s Day -2024 was celebrated on 27^th July, 2024 in the College Auditorium. Honourable President of V.V.Sangha Shree Allum Gurubasavaraj presided over the event.  The Space Scientist of ISRO Mr.Darukesh was the Chief Guest. Honourable Secretary of V.V.Sangha Dr.Aravind Patel, Management Committee Members Shree Chornur Kotrappa, Chairperson the College Governing Council Smt.Kathyayini Maridevaiah were the Chief Guests, General Secretary of Students Association Ms.Sahanashree and Cultural Secretary Ms.Kavya shared the dias. The Chief Guest Mr.Darukesh and dignitaries inaugurated the event and the Chief Guest Mr.Darukesh spoke that there is no time limit bound to make achievement. The students who are ambitious to achieve must determine themselves to reach the highest goals.  He said that life teaches more lessons than books.  He declared that the people who taught that some people are ordinary people with rural background from the majority of high end achiever.  He said that he is familiar to Smt A S M College for during his college days.  He had visited here as a participant for Smt.USHA JALI Memorial Science Lecture contest and recalled that he was the student of Professor Smt.H.Ratna, HoD of Physics, while she was working in Kottur.  He concluded that students must make use of the opportunity and more over ISRO has the wide opportunities not only for Science but all progammes.  Later on the interacted with the Students in Questions and Answers Session. Honourable Secretary of V.V.Sangha Dr.Aravind Patel addressed the gathering and motivated the students to follow the footsteps of Dr.Darukesh to achieve a great success. He admired the efforts and hard work of the rank holders and urged the present students to continue the same legacy by scoring more number of ranks.  The dignitaries on the dias distributed the prizes and awards to the KSAW University Rank holders, winners in various competitions, sports and cultural activities, endowment prizes for scoring highest marks in various subjects. Principal Dr.A.M.KALAMMA read out the Annual Report of the College. Dr.Suvarnamma, HoD of Kannada compeered the event, Ms.Vibha Kulkarni and Ms.Channabasamma invocated the event, Dr.Gangadhar, Guest Faculty in Commerce welcomed the guests and gathering, IQAC Coordinator Dr.Dupam Satheesh, Faculty Members Dr.Syeda Tanveer, Smt.Gowri and Smt.Rohinaz carried out the event. Dr.Basava Rajeshwari, Asst.Prof. of Botany proposed the vote of thanks.
