Sadbhavana Diwas-2024
Sadbhavana Diwas, also known as Harmony Day, is observed annually on 20 August in India. The day is dedicated to promoting communal harmony, peace, and national integration. In 2024, Sadbhavana Diwas will continue to honour the legacy of Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India, who was a staunch advocate of these values. Sadbhavana Diwas 2024 will commemorate Rajiv Gandhi’s 80th birth anniversary this year.

The Department of Political Science had organized “Rashtriya Sadbhavana Divas” on 20.08.2024 in the Open Air Auditorium of the College to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi. Principal Smt.H.RATNA inaugurated the event and briefed out the life and achievements of Sri.Rajiv Gandhi. HoD of Political Science Shree Sundar Murthy explained the significance of Sadbhavana Day. HoD of Kannada Dr.SUVARNAMMA carried out the event, Faculty of Kannada Dr.MANGALA read out the oath of Rashtriya Sadbhavana Diwas. Faculty of Political Science Ms.NANDINI proposed the vote of thanks.
