National Science Day - 28.02.2024
National Science Day observed on 28.02.3024(Wednesday)
The Science Association of our College had organised "NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY-2024" to commemorate the contributions of Sir. C. V. Raman in the field of Science. The event was held in college seminar hall, Principal Dr.A.M.Kalamma presided over the event. Dr.Manjunath Reddy, Principal, SSA Government First Grade College(Autonomous), Ballari, was the chief guest for the event. The dignitaries offered floral tributes to the portrait of Sir.C.V.Raman and initiated the event. Chief guest Dr.Manjunath Reddy addressed the students and briefed out biography and achievements of Sir.C.V.Raman. He also urged the students to develop scientific temper and contribute their best to the field of science. Principal Dr. A. M. Kalamma in her presidential remarks explained the importance of celebrating National Science Day. The dignitaries also distributed the prizes to the winners of the various science competitions which were conducted on the eve of National Science Day. IQAC Coordinator Dr.Dupam Satheesh, the Convener of Science Association Dr. Syeda K Tanveer F, the Secretary of Science association Ms.Rakshita shared the dias. Ms.Shreya T, carried out the event. Ms.Pallavi N P welcomed the guest and gathering. Ms.Sakshi patil invocated the event. Smt.H. Ratna, HoD of Physics introduced the chief guest. Ms.Harshita proposed vote of thanks. Faculties from various departments were also present. Nearly 70-80 students from science stream had participated in the event. The event was highly successful.
