ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡಿನ ವೀರ ವನಿತೆ ಒನಕೆ ಓಬವ್ವ ಅವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು. ಮಾತೃಭೂಮಿಯ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸದೆಬಡಿದ ವೀರವನಿತೆ ಒನಕೆ ಓಬವ್ವ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಪುಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಜರಾಮರ. ಅವರು ತೋರಿದ ಸಾಹಸವು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕವಾಗಿದೆ.

The Sociology Department, in association with NSS-1 & 2 Units, celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, i.e. National Education Day-2025 & Onake Obavva Jayanthi on 11.11.2025 at BBA Seminar Hall. The College Principal Dr.Dupam Satheesh, IQAC Coordinator, IQAC Co-coordinator; the NSS Units Officers, RDC Director, HoDs, Staff & Students participated on occasion.

The theme for National Education Day 2025 is "AI and education: Preserving human agency in a world of automation." This theme emphasizes the integration of artificial intelligence into education while focusing on maintaining human decision-making and creativity in a technologically advancing world. It highlights the importance of equipping students and educators to navigate and shape the changes brought about by AI.

Focus: The theme centers on how education can prepare individuals to work alongside AI, rather than being replaced by it.

Key areas: It addresses how to balance technological innovation with the preservation of human skills, creativity, and critical thinking.

Goals: The goal is to foster innovation, inclusivity, and digital readiness while ensuring that human agency remains central to the educational process.

ವೀರಶೈವ ವಿದ್ಯಾವರ್ಧಕ ಸಂಘದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಲ್ಲಂ ಸುಮಂಗಳಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಮಾರಕ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಿ. 11.11.2025 ರಂದು ಸಮಾಜ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್. ಎಸ್ ಎಸ್ ಘಟಕದ ಸಹ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಒನಕೆ ಓಬವ್ವ ಜಯಂತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಡಾ. ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕಲಾಂ ಅಜಾದ್ ಅವರ ಭಾವ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುಷ್ಪನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಧೂಪಂ ಸತೀಶ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಡಾಕ್ಟರ್ ಮೌಲಾನಾ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕಲಾಂ ಅಜಾದ್ ಅವರು ಭಾರತದ ಮೊದಲ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಾರ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 11ರಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. IQAC ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸಾಯಿದಾ ತನ್ವೀರ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಡಾ. ಅಬ್ದುಲ ಕಲಾಂ ಅಜಾದ್ ಅವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತಂದಿರುವ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಇಂದಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬುನಾದಿಯಾಗಿವೆಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ.ಗೋವಿಂದರಾಜು ಬಿ. ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಒನಕೆ ಓಬವ್ವ ಮೂಲತಃ Gudeಕೋಟೆಯವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವರ ಸಾಹಸ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಧೈರ್ಯ ಇಂದಿನ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣದಾಯಕವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಸಮಾಜಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾದ ಲಿಂಗಪ್ಪ ಎಂ. ಅವರು ಡಾ. ಮೌಲಾನಾ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕಲಾಂ ಅಜಾದ್ ಅವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಜಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಅಶೋಕ್, ಎನ್ ಎಸ್ ಎಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಚೋಳೇಂದ್ರ ಭೋಪಾಲ್, ಹಾಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
