"World Mental Health Day" was observed in the college on 10.10.2025. The event was organized by the District Health Department in association with District Administration Zilla Panchayat & District Legal Services Authority, District Health and Family Welfare Department, and the Health Centre of our college in the main auditorium. Senior Civil Judge Shri Rajesh N. Hosamani was the chief guest. Chief Guest Shri Rajesh N. Hosamani, District Health and Family Welfare Officer; Dr. Yella Ramesh Babu, District Surgeon; Dr. Bassi Reddy, Psychiatrist and Resource Person; Dr. Nanda Kishore Reddy, Principal Dr. Dupam Satheesh, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Syeda K. Tanveer; and other dignitaries inaugurated the event by watering the plant. The civil judge and the chief guest, Shri Rajesh Hosamani, in his inaugural address, advised the students to be cautious about their mental health. The resource person in his special talk on mental health advised the students on how to overcome fear and to be psychologically strong and gave the guidelines on how to increase willpower. Principal Dr. Dupam Satheesh expressed gratitude to the District Health Department for organizing this great event in the college. IQAC coordinator Dr. Syeda K. Tanveer proposed the vote of thanks. Staff and more than 250 students participated in the event.
