From the department of Arts on 28-02-2025 at 10:00 p.m., our journey begins. Our college principal, Dupam Sateesh; HoD of History, Sri. Ramalinga T.; lecturer of History, Sri. Shamaraja Nayak T.; physical education director, Sri. Ashok G.; lecturer of Kannada, Dr. Mangala B. N.; lecturer of chemistry, Smt. Rohinaz; and other department staff were present.

Day: -1 (01-03-2025)
Firstly, we visited the Chennakeshava Temple in Belur. This temple was built by Vishnuvardhana in 1117 CE. This temple is one sanctum. The carvings of the epitaph are very beautiful. Later, then we headed to Hoysaleshwara Temple, Halebeedu, at 9:50 a.m. Here, Mahesh Sir was the guide, and he explained to us about the architecture. This temple was built by Vishnuvardhana's minister Kethumalla in 1121 CE. Mallikafar attacked this temple in 1310 and 1326. He conquered it twice. Later, at 2:08 p.m., we reached Shravanabelagola. Where, the statue of Gommateswara (Bahubali) is situated. It is the holy place of Jain, and it is also one of the most visited places in South India. This was built by Chavundaraya in 982 CE. It is 58 feet high. Later, at 4:30 p.m., we visited the Chaluvanarayana Temple in Melukote. Then, I visited Rayagopura, which is near the temple and was built by Vishnuvardhana in 1098. We also saw a Sister's Pool. And, also, we visited one of the beautiful places, Yogi Narasimha Swamy Temple. Then, we started to Mysuru and reached at 9:30 p.m.

Day: -2 (02-03-2025)
We visited the Golden Temple at 10:00 a.m. This was built by Panor-Rin-Poche in 1995 and completed in 1999. Here, the statue of Buddha is 60 feet and 58 feet in height of Guru Padma Sambhava and the 3 big statues of Amityayus. Later, at 12:02 p.m., we visited the training spot of Mysore Dasara Elephants, which is Dubare. Then, at 1:00 p.m., we visited the Harangi Reservoir in Kushalnagar Taluk in Kodagu District. The construction of this reservoir was in the year of 1997, April, and was completed in 1999. Then, we reached Abbey Falls at 4:00 p.m. Here, the Kaveri River flows from a height of 40 feet. Later, at 6:12 p.m., we reached Raja Seat Park, which is the most beautiful place. This spot is also called the Sunset View Point. In the early days, kings were sitting and enjoying the view, so it was named Raja Seat Park. Finally, we reached to Mysore at 10:30 p.m.

Day: 3 (03-03-2025)
At 8:00 a.m. we visited Chamundi Hills. Here, the Chamundi Temple is very famous. People believe that the goddess killed the evil Mahishasura. Then, at 10:00 p.m., we visited the Mysore Zoo. This is also called Chamarajendra Zoo. It was built in 1892, and it has 45 acres. Then, at 12:45 p.m., we reached Mysore Palace. This palace is also called Amba Vilas. The construction of the palace was started in the year of 1897 and completed in the year of 1912. This palace is in the style of Indo-Saracenic. Then, at 1:30 p.m., we visited St. Philomena Cathedral Church. This church was built during Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar III's period in 1843. Then, at 3:50 p.m., we headed to Srirangapattana. There we visited Tipu Sultan's Tomb. Tipu Sultan built this tomb for his parents in the years 1782-84. After his death in the 4th Anglo-Mysore War, he was buried here. Later, we visited Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace, also called Daria Daulat, at 4:50 p.m. Then, at 5:30 p.m., we visited the Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple in Srirangapattana. This temple is situated on the riverbank of Kaveri. Later at 6:55 p.m. we went to Krishnaraja Sagar Dam. This is also called Kannambadi. Here the Garden was built by Sir Mirza Ismail in the year of 1927, and he named it Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV. There was a Water Light Dance Show; we enjoyed it. And, we had dinner at 1:00 p.m., and we headed towards Ballari. In between, we planned for a fire camp where we shared our experience of the tour. Finally, we reached our college.
