The Placement Cell and Career Guidance Cell had organized an inaugural event of M/s.Deshpande Skilling-Skill Plus programme for the academic year 2025-26 in the college library seminar hall. The Chairperson of the College Governing Council Smt.Kathyayini.M.Maridevaiah, presided and inaugurated the event by watering the plant. After the inauguration, she said that M/s.Deshpande Foundation has been taking enormous strain to equip the students with various global skills which enable them to find better placements. Principal Dr.Dupam Satheesh spoke on the occasion and briefed about the significance of various skills. The Co-ordinator of IQAC Dr.Syeda.K.Tanveer and Co- Coordinator Dr.Bheemanagouda.N.Patil, presided over the event and spoke about the benefits of the training. The Coordinator of the Placement Cell Mr.Basavaraj Hugar shared about the success of previous year students enrolled in Skill plus programme. The trainers of the M/s.Deshpande Foundation Mr.Ramesh Chippageri, and Mr Raju.C.S., shared the dias with dignitaries. Ms.L Sindu of BSc-V semester carried out the event and welcomed the guests and gathering and Ms.Pavithra of BSc-V semester proposed a vote of thanks. The Faculty from various departments, parents and 60 students witnessed the event.
