A REPORT ON BCA CRAFT SPACE 2024

The Department of BCA had organized “BCA Craft Space 2024” a grand event in order to explore the hidden talents and skills of the students of BCA department. The event was organized on 23.11.2024 in BCA lecture halls.  The Chairperson of College Governing Council Smt.Kathyayini.M.Maridevaiah, Principal Smt.H.Ratna, Coordinator of BCA department Dr.Shilpa Patil, the Coordinator of IQAC Dr.Bindu Nayak and staff members of BCA department inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. After inaugurating the event the Chairperson, Principal and staff witnessed the various events in which the students of BCA had taken an active part.      The participants of various events like Painting, Drawing, Make-up, Mehandi, Saree draping, Paper craft, Hair style and silk thread exhibition displayed their artistic works and talent’s to the dignitaries. Prof.K.Vijendra, Prof.Rama Linga, Dr.D.Suvarnamma, Ms.Anupama, Smt.Poornima, Smt.Rajeshwari, Smt.Rohinaaz, Smt.Soumya, Smt.Anjana, Smt.Puspa were the judges for the various events.

        *Ms.Sreeja of BCA 5^th sem bagged the 1^st prize and Ms.Sabiha of BCA 3^rd sem bagged the 2^nd prize in painting.

        *Ms.Renuka of BCA 1^st sem won the 1^st prize and Ms.Rakshitha.J of BCA 5^th sem won the 2^nd prize in drawing.

        *Ms.Alfa of BCA 1^st sem won the 1^st prize and Ms.Umina Salma of 5^th sem won the 2^nd prize in mehandi.

        *Ms.Sindhu of BCA 5^th sem secured the 1^st prize and Ms.Prema of BCA 1^st sem secured the 2^nd sem in make-up.

        *Ms.Kusuma of BCA 1^st sem secured the 1^st prize and Ms.Indu.B of BCA 5^th sem secured the 2^nd prize in saree draping.

        *Ms.Tejasri of BCA 1^st sem won the 1^st prize and Ms.Greeshma of BCA 1^st sem won the 2^nd prize in paper craft.

        *Ms.Sandhya of BCA 3^rd sem won the 1^st prize and Ms.Thara of BCA 1^st sem won the 2^nd prize in hair style.

The participants also displayed a demo of Hair style and Handmade Silk thread items. The Chairperson of the college Smt.Kathyayini madam commended the efforts and endeavour of the mentors, organizers and participants of BCA department. She said that such a motivation to take part in various co-curricular activities by the students in the need of the hour Prof.Yasmeen, Prof.Dikshitha and Prof.Srinivas too involved completely in organizing the event. The Coordinator of BCA department expressed her sincere thanks for all those who had made the BCA Craft Space 2024 a grand success.
