Annual Talents Day was celebrated in the College 03.05.2025 in the College Auditorium. The Chairperson of the College Governing Council Smt.KATHYAYINI.M.MARIDEVAIAH, presided over the event. Padmashree Dr.MAATA.B. MANJAMMA JOGATI, Former President of Karnataka Janapada Academy and Janapada Artists, was the Chief Guest.

Report on Annual Talents’ Day – 2025
Chief Guest Dr.MAATA.B.MANJAMMA JOGATI, Assistant Secretary of V.V.Sangha Shree Yalpimeti Pampanagouda, Chairperson of the College Governing Council Smt.KATHYAYINI.M.MARIDEVAIAH, Former Secretary & Present M.C. Member Shree Choranur.T.Kotrappa, CGC Member Shri.Parvatheesha, Principal Dr.Dupam Satheesh, General Secretary of Students Association Ms.MALLESHWARI, Joint Secretary Ms.VENNELA, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. After inaugurating the event Padmashree B.MANJAMMA JOGATI said that Art must be a part of the life and lift without art will be a waste. Students must consider art as the best part of education which enables them to explore their hidden talents. She expressed his joy for giving away the prizes to the Rank holders and winners in various cultural activities. She underlined that she had come here to involve with the students. She recalled the hardships; she had endured in her early life and urged the students to be bold enough to face any sort of challenges in life. She said to see god in themselves for she has blessed this life to live. Every great man in this world had endured miseries with patience. She advised the students to work hard and become the high end achievers. She sung some Janapada Geetas and thrilled the gathering. Finally, she concluded her speech with an appeal to the gathering to consider transgender or the third gender equally in the society and also to educate them at the best so that she would become very great one day. Principal Dr.Dupam Satheesh read out the Annual Report of the College and describes its prospects, progress and achievements. HoD of Commerce Dr.Gavisiddappa Gadag delivered the keynote address. Faculty of Commerce Dr.Gangadhar introduced the Chief Guest. Students of BA Ms.CHAITANYA and Ms.KANMANI invocated the event. Faculty of M Com Smt.RINI GATTINA welcomed the guests and gathering. Former Secretary and Present MC Member Shree Chornur.T.Kotrappa briefed out the life and achievements of Padmashree MAATA MANJAMMA JOGATI. He said that since the beginning of V.V.Sangha has been making its sincere attempts in recognizing and honouring stage and folklore artistes. Chairperson Smt.KATHYAYINI.M.MARIDEVAIAH lauded the efforts of Principal and Staff for inviting MAATA MANJAMMA JOGATI as the Chief Guest for Annual Talents Day and her speech has delighted the gathering. She advised the students to consider MAATA MANJAMMA JOGATI as a role model inorder to ensure successful life. She expressed her gratitude’s for MAATA MANJAMMA JOGATI for gracing the Talent’s Day-2025 as the Chief Guest. IQAC Coordinator Dr.P.J.BINDU proposed the vote of thanks. All the Rank holders of the Academic Year 2023-24 were felicitated by the dignitaries on the occasion. Special Invitees, College Governing Council Members from various Colleges, Parents of the Rank Holders, Staff and Students witnessed the event and followed by Cultural Events.
