COVID-19 Vaccination Drive Programme held on 03.07.2021
V.V.Sangha’s Smt. A.S.M. College for Women in association with District Health & Family Welfare Department had organized “COVID-19 Vaccination Drive” in the College campus on 3rd July 2021. Honourable President of V.V.Sangha, Ballari Shree Gurusidda Swamy, Secretary Shree B V Basavaraj, Treasurer Shree Gonal Rajashekhar Goud, Ex-Chairman of A.D.B. College, Harapanahalli Shree Ambli Manjunath, Taluk Health Officers, Dr.Mohan Kumarai, Dr.Devendra, Principal Dr.S.Y.Thimma Reddy inaugurated the event by watering the plant. Honourable Vice President of V.V.Sangha Shree Allum Chennappa and Joint Secretary of V.V.Sangha Shree Darur Shantana Goud, Staff and Students were present on the occasion.
President Shree Gurusidda Swamy after inaugurating the event spoke that Vaccination is a must for all and exclusively mandatory for students. Describing the worst impact of COVID-19 Pandemic he underlined that Vaccination is the only solution to prevent the future hazards of the Pandemic. He admired the efforts of the College & Teamwork in organizing this social event. Taluk Health Officer Dr.Mohana Kumari described the efficacy of the Vaccination and urged all the students to get compulsorily vaccinated as the drive is organized in the College. She also urged them to instruct their friends and relatives to get vaccinated in order to fight the pandemic.
Principal Dr.S.Y.Thimma Reddy in his keynote address briefed out the significance of vaccination in order to save our nation from the deadly pandemic COVID-19. Dr.G.Shashikiran welcomed the guests and gathering, Smt.Mangala Boja carried out the event, Kum.Shalmali of BCA II Semester invocated the event, Dr.Satheesh Dupam proposed the vote of thanks. In all-around 500 members got vaccinated in the drive.
