Blood Group checkup, Blood Donation &

COVID-19 Test Camp conducted on 06-02-2021

IQAC, Youth Red Cross Wing, NSS & Health Centre of College in coordination with VIMS and Rotary Club of Ballari conducted Blood Grouping, Blood Donation, and COVID Test Camp on 06-02-2021 at Seminar Hall.

Around 296 students have got their blood grouping while 161 got COVID tested and 10 students voluntarily donated blood. The program was inaugurated by Dr.S Y Thimma Reddy,  Principal, Smt.G Sreevani, Convener of Youth Red Cross Wing, Sri.Dupam Satheesh,  IQAC Coordinator,  Smt.Bindu, Convener, Health Centre, Sri.U.Chandrashekhar and Sri.Rajkumar Gogi, Rotary Club Ballari, Sri.Santosh and Sri.Mallikarjuna of VIMS inaugurated the event. After inaugurating the event Dr.S.Y.ThimmaReddy, Principal in his address spoke about the significance of blood group checkup, blood donation & COVID-19 test. Being the regular program of the College, he urged the students to get their blood group checkup so that it will be possible for them to donate blood during accidents and emergencies. He stressed that blood donation is the greatest donation of all. Kum.Anukrupa R invocated,  Smt.G.Sreevani, Convener of Youth Red Cross Wing, welcomed the guests and gathering, Kum.Poojitha, Kum.Nikhath carried out the event & Kum.Shilpitha proposed the Vote of Thanks.
