M Com Students Activity - Stress interview & Paper Reading

About the Events

1) Stress Interview:-

Stress is an unavoidable phenomenon that is often seen in our lives. Combatting stress is the need of the day. In modern organizations, a stress interview is an interviewing style that organizations use to gauge a candidate’s reaction to stress. In this regard, “Mock Stress Interview” with a tagline “Understand you are not indispensable” was organized for M.Com.-First and Final year students with the objective of inculcating stress management behavior in students from the corporate perspective such as juggling with various high priority tasks, dealing with challenging clients, facing difficult co-workers, etc. The event was organized by Ms.Divya Budur and Ms.Gayatri M.P. (Faculty Members in Commerce) and was witnessed by the presence of the department teaching fraternity. Mr.Shaik Saleem Basha, Principal, Indo-America Degree College, Ballari was the prominent judge for the event. The success of this event could not possible without the support and encouragement of our beloved Principal Dr.S.Y.Thimmareddy and Dr.Gavisiddappa Gadag, HoD of Commerce. The event was held on 09-01-2021.

2) Paper Reading Contest:-

“Reading is the gateway skill that makes all other learning possible” with this objective Department of P.G. Studies in Commerce organized an intra-department Paper Reading Contest with the tagline “You Read You Know You Grow” to the M.Com.-First and Final year students with the objective to enhance their paper reading skills, gain awareness about sustainable development goals, to learn from the papers read by other participants. The event was organized by Ms.Gayatri M.P and Ms.Divya Budur and was graced with the presence of our respected Principal, Dr.S.Y. Thimmareddy, and Dr.Gavisiddappa Gadag, Associate Prof. & Head, Department of PG Studies in Commerce.

Dr. Shashikiran G., Head, Department of Studies in Economics, and Mr. Nanda Gopal M, Finance and Accounts Analyst, Accenture India Solutions Pvt Ltd., Bengaluru were the eminent judges for the contest. All the students and staff members of M.Com. Department present on the occasion.
