International Women’s Day - 08/03/2017

                Alumni Association of Smt. A.S.M. College for Women in Association with District Legal Service Authority, Ballari, had organised International Women’s Day at Smt.ASM College for Women on 8^th March, 2017.

            Smt.K.Kathyayani, Principal, Civil Judge and Member of District Legal Service Authority is the Chief Guest. After inaugurating the programme, she spoke that “It is the right time for the Women to develop leadership qualities which can be attained only through education." She stressed that education also enables the Women for her total empowerment. Freedom of education is the need of the hour for Women, she hinted that Women should attain such knowledge which qualities that enables her to lead a practical life. She underlined that in the present context Woman is not less than man.

            Miss.Ashwini Kore, Judicial Magistrate - First Class, is the Guest of Honour, spoke about the issues that Women must be dare enough to accept various challenges contribute the best to the mankind by empowering herself with best education. She highlighted that education is a birth right for Women. The president of Bar Association, Ballari also spoke on the occasion.

           The President of Alumni Association, Smt.Gadigi Swarnalatha and Smt.Kuppagal Girija, College Governing Council Members,  are also present on the occasion. Principal, Dr.M.Pampapathi presided over the event and spoke that today Women has turned a healthy competition for men. He appreciated the efforts of Alumni Association in holding such beneficial & informative events. Smt.Shambhavi, Head of Department of Chemistry and Vice-President of Alumni Association, Staff Members and Students are present. Smt.Padmashree compeered the event, Miss.Prakruthi Kashyap invocated, Miss.Shrivani welcomed the gathering. Smt.Ashwini proposed the vote of thanks.
